Henry R. Korf

Henry Korf joined the UNI staff in August of 2022 and currently serves as the Coordinator for the UNI Veterans Center of Excellence and the Military and Veteran Student Services department at UNI. Henry Korf is formerly from Seattle, WA and holds a BA in Biology from Dordt University and a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA. Henry retired from the US Army Air Defense in July of 2021 after serving in multiple levels of leadership and serving 33+ years in uniform culminated by his three-year tour as Senior Air Defense Advisor to the Saudi Arabian Royal Air Defense Forces. Henry currently serves as the Chair of the Blackhawk County Veterans Affairs Commission, is on the Board for Americans for Independent Living (AFIL – serving homeless Veterans) and is a life member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Veterans.
